FINDING BEAUTY IN EVERY FRAGMENT
The landscape of the human spirit is like a beautiful mosaic. Every fragment is important to the composition of life. Each abstract fragment works together to form a wonderful picture. My drive as an artist, designer, poet and inspiring teacher is to reveal the strength, diversity and character of each fragment. Whether it be the beautiful textures, wonderful figures or breathtaking color, each unique piece is powerful, odious and grand. I’m finding the beauty in every fragment.

Bio
CELEBRATING HUMANITY
Growing up in the small town of Dumas, Arkansas, I was always aware of the beauty of people. At a early age I understood that everyone possesses a unique quality that should be celebrated. Everybody is a wonderful fragment in the breathtaking mosaic of the human experience.

My artistic purpose is to celebrate the beauty of the human spirit. The work I create is presented in fragment form to represent how important everyone is to the beautiful mosaic composition of humanity. Creatively I’m influenced by such artists like Andy Warhol, Jacob Lawrence, Jackson Pollock and Mark Bradford. You will find my work to be contemporary, clean, graphic and textural. My ultimate interest is to celebrate the strength, diversity and character of every wonderful fragment of humanity’s stunning portrait.

Medium
DIGITAL PAINTING
Like so many artist, I have been blessed with the ability to work in several mediums. I’ve worked in pencil, pen & ink, color pencil, charcoal, print making, photography, acrylic, mixed-media, clay and stone. My current media focus is Digital Painting. My practice is about creating, combining and manipulating draws, mono-prints, textures, photographs, vintage graphics and natural objects to create captivating work. Just like hip-hop, it is about mixing things together to create something new.
